The R&H culinary team is guided by local fisherman & Tasmania’s seasons to showcase the state’s best produce, with an emphasis on minimal waste & maximum flavour.
Non-seafood eaters, vegetarians & guests with dietary requirements are well catered for & very welcome.

Rupert & Hound’s bar shouts fun & finesse, with a focus on locally-sourced spirits, beers & wines that are created with respect for the environment.
Our cocktail menu is seasonally driven & inspired by memories and stories, with traditional recipes replaced by revolutionary masterpieces.
In conjunction with Scottsdale’s Little Rivers Brewery we produce our own house beer – Hound Dog Lager & Rupert’s Raspberry Sour. We are very fond of our beers & they are showcased throughout our food & cocktail menus.
The largest vineyard in Tasmania, Hazards Vineyards, produces Devil’s Corner, our chosen house wine. The intensity of flavour captured in Devil’s Corner wines is specific to The Hazards Vineyards, as the vines are exposed to the unpredictable and wild East Coast elements.
FUNCTIONS.
Rupert & Hound is perfectly located to host any celebration; accommodating small & intimate gatherings through to large, private functions utilising the entire venue.
We offer a private deck accessed via a series of bi-fold doors, making it the perfect location for pre or post celebration drinks or an outside dining experience.
